Although exciting, relocating to a new area can be stressful. In addition to all of the other things you must do, updating your address with the Montana Motor Vehicle Division is important to make certain documents like your license and registration match the updated information. All states mandate that you change your address within a short time period once you relocate. Montana residents are required to do so within 10 days of any address change.
