Step 3. Enter your VIN (vehicle identification number). Locate the VIN on the driver’s side windshield near the dashboard, and occasionally on the outer lower edge of the driver’s seat. Step 4. Provide the registered owner’s information. For an individual, this will be the legal first and last name of the person. For a business, this must be the company’s legal name on file with the Ohio BMV. If there is a co-owner, click the blue +Add Co-Owner link. When this is complete, click Next.
