Maryland Registration Online: It’s Easy with eTags

If your vehicle is already titled in the Old Line State, the process is straightforward and user-friendly. So, without further ado, here’s how to order a new Maryland registration online:

1. Head over to eTags.com, select Maryland as your home state, and choose the New Registration option
2. Specify which kind of registration you need. Your choices will be:
   1. New Plates and Registration
   2. Transfer Tag
   3. Transfer Title with New Registration

3. Here you will enter your vehicle identification number (VIN). This is usually found on your title, on the driver’s side of the windshield in the vehicle, and sometimes on the outer bottom area of the driver’s seat.
4. Next, confirm that the vehicle information pulled up is correct. You will see both the year and make of the vehicle here. If it corresponds, click Next.
5. Enter your contact details. You will need an email address and mobile phone number to proceed.
6. Verify that the owner of the vehicle is either an individual or company. For an individual, you’ll need to provide the first and last name, while for a business, please complete the full business name.
7. Fill in the name and address where you’d like to receive your new registration.
8. Confirm that the address you have provided is correct.
9. On your summary page, review the details of your order. You will see your contact information, the vehicle year and make, along with the shipping name and address. If there is something that needs altering, click Edit Order. If everything looks good, you can proceed to Checkout. Alternatively, if you have as second vehicle that needs registration, you have the opportunity to do so here by clicking Add Another Vehicle.
10. On your final page, you can select either credit card or PayPal, and provide the corresponding details. This is the time to take a peek at our terms and conditions and verify that you agree with them. Once all this is done, click Pay. Your registration order has been placed and is underway!
