The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has made available many of its forms online, so NV residents save time by downloading their required forms before heading to their local to complete their vehicle-related and driver-related procedures. Note that there are several forms that cannot be accessed online so you may be required to visit your local DMV to collect your forms.

Nevada Change of Address Forms

Change of Address Notification by Mail – Form DMV22 | Download
Use this form to report a change of address and update your address displayed on your driver, vehicle, and/or voting records.

Address change on NV driver’s license

If you move to another address, you are required to report it to the DMV within 30 days after moving. You are allowed to notify it online, by mail/fax, or in person.

Online

• Visit the MyDMV website
• Set an account (if you don’t have one)
• Pay the $4.25 fee

 By mail or fax

To change your address by mail or fax submit the following:

• A completed Form DMV22
• Pay the $4.25 fee
• A copy of your most recent Leave and Earnings Statement document (Applicable to military members stationed out of state, including spouses or other dependents who took part of the relocation).

In person

To update your address on your driver’s license in person, go to your local DMV office and provide the following:

Change of address on vehicle registration

If you need to update your new address on your vehicle registration certificate, you must first change your address on your driver’s license. This is an optional decision that could be done either online, by mail/fax. or in person.

Online

• Visit the MyDMV website
• Pay the $6 fee for your registration card

By mail or fax

• Tick the box on the form when updating your address on your driver’s license
• Pay the $6 fee for your registration card

In person

• Visit your local NV DMV office
• Pay the $6 fee for your registration card
