In fact, the United States Environmental Protection (EPA) has released a list of the most fuel efficient new vehicles in 2018. This list makes it even easier for buyers to get the most value from their purchase.

Today, the demand for fuel efficient vehicles is going up at a fast rate. Fuel costs take a considerable amount of our total expenditure and it is not sustainable. EPA reported that opting for the most fuel efficient vehicles could help drivers save as much as $1000 or more annually.

For that reason, EPA has created a guide to help car buyers make sound decisions and educate them with the most fuel efficient new vehicles in today’s market.

Looking at the facts

Just as it shows in the infographic below, the Hyundai Ioniq Blue ranks number 1 with 58 miles per gallon (mpg), which speaks highly for efficiency and  low running costs.

As a frontrunner, the sensible Toyota Prius Eco ranks 2nd with 56 mpg. This vehicle could easily rely on electric, featuring a dashboard that gives drivers plenty information about fuel-conscious elements.

This infographic also shows that both Hyundai and Toyota are key competitors for the most fuel efficient new vehicles in 2018. Yet, the KIA Nero FE appears to be an acceptable choice as well.

Speaking of fuel efficiency, the EPA estimates that the KIA Nero Fe and Kia Nero rate at 50 mpg and 49 mpg respectively. These hybrid vehicles display full capacity, making KIA a potential threat for other top efficient vehicle producers in the automotive industry.
