Paypal's "Pay in 4" options allows the DMV funds to be immediately remitted which means your registration is renewed as soon as you are approved and shipped via USPS regular mail or the overnight option, if selected. If the vehicle requires a smog test, the registration fees would be paid as soon as the payment is approved with PayPal but the registration will ship after the smog is completed.
