Because these are two of our most favorite things here at eTags. Ready? Here we go\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>One<\/strong>. This time of year is one of the busiest and best for buying a car. Why? Because of two factors that are related to one another:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Sales<\/li>\n<li>Inventory reduction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because dealerships want to clear out this year\u2019s stock before the new models start arriving, they are often inspired to lay down some really good sales and incentives. Well, there is quite a bit of truth to this depiction. The United States at Christmas sees approximately 20,000 cars being gifted \u2013 with those giant red bows too. Why? Not just because tis the season, but because of all the end-of-year sales and inventory clearing and general push to sell, sell, sell, the automotive market often will experience some remarkably low price tags.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Three. <\/strong>Those who travel to see family and loved ones will choose to drive their own car (as opposed to a rented one) and will also be willing to driver longer and further for Christmas than any other holiday. Maybe because it\u2019s like the song says: \u201cThere\u2019s no place like home for the holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Four. <\/strong>We\u2019ve all probably seen those fun car decorations like reindeer antlers attached to the front windows or the red reindeer nose fixed to a car grill. And they are super fun. But for folks who like to take this festive spirit one step further and apply blinking lights to their ride, it\u2019s good to know that flashing lights could pose a <a href=\"https:\/\/law.justia.com\/codes\/new-york\/vat\/title-3\/article-9\/376\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">problem with the law<\/a> in some jurisdictions. Colored bulbs, especially red and blue, are often reserved for emergency vehicles and should be avoided.
