Happy June, everybody! Welcome to another beautiful Spring month in the Northern Hemisphere, and thanks for joining us while we peruse the world of all things automotive here at the eTags blog. Today we revisit one of our favorite topics: the Florida Specialty Plate Spotlight Series.<\/p>\n

In other words, there\u2019s a lid for every pot here \u2013 if you\u2019ve got a hobby (golf) or a cause (manatees) or a passion (feeding the hungry), chances are, there\u2019s a Specialty Plate for you!<\/p>\n

But the real icing on this cake is that there\u2019s more to the Specialty Plate that giving Floridians a way to express themselves or support something they believe in. We like to say that:<\/p>\n

The Specialty Plate is more than just a pretty face.<\/h2>\n

Because behind each theme and design lies a cause that is directly supported by the purchase of that particular tag. So when you opt for a Specialty Plate, you are in fact contributing to the charity or foundation behind it. \"Gadsden<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s take today\u2019s Spotlight Feature as an example: The Gadsden Plate.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When you purchase the Gadsden Specialty Plate, the proceeds of the purchase are then directed to the Florida Veterans Foundation<\/a>. \u00a0This foundation is on a mission to \u201cserve, support, and advocate for Florida veterans.\u201d Their aim is to help improve the quality of life of both veterans and their families.<\/p>\n

They do so by providing services to veterans that directly better their physical, financial, mental, emotional, and social well-being. Additionally, The Florida Veterans Association maintains a strong presence in the field of awareness, promoting veteran-related issues to the foreground of public and governmental establishments. \"Veteran<\/p>\n
