This iconic drawing of John Lennon, along with his much-loved and enduring song, \u201cImagine,\u201d are at the heart of this Florida charity.\u00a0 The Imagine Specialty Plate is the automotive face of the non-profit organization, Feeding Florida<\/a>: Florida\u2019s Food Bank Network. This is a statewide integrated network of food banks on a mission to provide food and end hunger in the Sunshine State.<\/p>\n

Feeding Florida works not only to stop hunger, but to meet the issue at its root cause.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The organization advocates for policies and programs across the state, engaging stakeholders and making available as many resources as possible for food bank optimization. The food banks supported by Feeding Florida number themselves at over 2,400 local charitable agencies, directly feeding individuals and families, on a quest towards realizing the collective goal of easy and plentiful food access throughout Florida.\"Food<\/p>\n

This last year alone, Feeding Florida helped provide over 404 million pounds of food to 2.9 million hungry mouths, including over 800,000 children. And while children, of course, are in all our hearts when it comes to hunger, the charity also focuses on those needing food that fall into the category of:<\/p>\n
