And:<\/li>\n<li>The other side that criticizes, doubts, hems and haws, refutes, and refuses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>But if enough folks mosey on over to the acceptance side of said bandwagon, then the trend ceases to be a trend. It becomes something more. A marked phase, a style, a choice, and ultimately, a steadfast option that has morphed into an expected element people come to see as normal.<\/p>\n<p>This process happens in fashion, in media, in politics, in design, in healthcare, in social norms. It is a journey that sees no difference when it comes to automobiles. These cars have undergone such a transformation, both in design and execution, and in terms of their level of acceptance in the automotive world.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Long gone are the days of the clunky, fighting-for-pickup Prius marking its buyers as hippies or tree-hugging folks with no need for speed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Fast forward from 1997 to today, to 2025, and EV\u2019s rule the roads.\u00a0 And not only have electric and hybrids become the norm (and may even be qualified for a government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irs.gov\/credits-deductions\/credits-for-new-clean-vehicles-purchased-in-2023-or-after\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tax credit<\/a>), but they\u2019ve transformed into luxury items, collectibles, even.\u00a0 In fact, we were just checking out some of the top (read: most expensive) EV\u2019s on the market, and came across Rolls Royce\u2019s newest offer in the electric world: the 2025 Spectre.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, not only is that name super cool (flashback to James Bond, anyone?) but it is a seriously chic ride with so many surprising attributes.\u00a0 So for our friends dabbling in the land of luxe EV\u2019s, this article is for you. And if this list doesn\u2019t inspire you to try for a test ride, maybe nothing will?! (We kid\u2026)<\/p>\n<p>The Rolls Royce Spectre, while sporting one of the fattest price tags in the ultra-luxury EV category (this baby comes with a starting cost that is double of that of Tesla\u2019s most expensive models) also comes with the most street cred. Perhaps we could say that the RR is the top of the \u201cfood chain\u201d in the automotive world.\u00a0 And it ought to be, with a base cost of $422,000, customizable to upwards of $500,000 or more.<\/p>\n<h2>But here\u2019s what you get for all those dollars:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Four passenger, two-door coupe<\/li>\n<li>Incredibly silent ride<\/li>\n<li>Extensively lush, spacious interior with tons of perks and personalization options<\/li>\n<li>Rear-hinged doors (shock and awe element!)<\/li>\n<li>Touchscreen infotainment with an available bespoke stereo option<\/li>\n<li>Two motor, 577 horsepower<\/li>\n<li>Driving range of 291 miles on a single charge. But there is a twist in this aspect, as the mile range depends on what size wheels you choose. If you go with the standard wheels, you get 291 miles, but if you upgrade to the 23-inch wheel option, the mileage drops to 266 with the extra weight.<\/li>\n<li>Easy, smooth 0 to 60 MPH in 3.7 seconds.
