The other day, a few of us from eTags were sitting in a public space surrounded by people we did not know.\u00a0 Forgive us if we prefer the idea of \u201cfriends we haven\u2019t met yet\u201d over the word \u201cstrangers.\u201d So, we were sitting around some friends we hadn\u2019t met yet, when one of them asked, \u201cSo what is it you do<\/em> over at this eTags place, huh?\u201d<\/p>\n

Well.\u00a0 Any dedicated reader of this blog can just imagine how chuffed we were to share with some new folks what is that we do here.\u00a0 It\u2019s like our most prized topic of discussion.\u00a0 Along with all the things we talk about here on the blog, (trends, checklists, rules and regulations, how-to\u2019s) maybe our other favorite subject is how we can help. Let\u2019s just say we like to walk our talk, right?<\/p>\n

So with that in mind, we thought we\u2019d do a quick little rundown of what we do at eTags and how we could possibly be of service to you.\u00a0 Because we\u2019re hanging out here with our fingers crossed that some of these \u201cfriends we haven\u2019t met yet\u201d have followed our suggestion to come check out our site and our blog.<\/p>\n

Now, down to business.\u00a0 What do<\/em> we do?<\/h2>\n

At eTags, we take most of the automotive tasks for which you\u2019d need to make an appointment at your local DMV, and instead of having you spend all that time in line, we help you get them done online<\/em>.\u00a0 What, you ask?\u00a0 Is this true, you wonder?\u00a0 Yes. And Yes!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say you just bought a vehicle (car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, RV, EV, trailer, etc) through a casual sale. Or maybe you were just gifted said vehicle.\u00a0 Could be you somehow inherited your new ride and need to transfer the title from the seller (previous owner) to you. Well, we can do this.\u00a0 It does not matter if the title comes from another state, from your weird uncle, or from a total stranger. (Ahem, we mean, friend you haven\u2019t met yet.). We can help transfer ownership of the vehicle from one person to another. (Or from two owners to one owner, from one owner to two \u2013 we know how to get this done too!)<\/p>\n

If in this process you find yourself lost and confused in the land of signatures, dates, and odometer readings, we can help.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you are stuck on something like dual ownership or the addition or removal of an owner on a title, we\u2019ve got your back.\u00a0 If you need to know whether or not your transfer requires notarization, we can tell you.\u00a0 Basically, almost anything you\u2019d want to get done concerning the signing over of a vehicle title is up our alley.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s say you lost your title.\u00a0 Or let\u2019s say the person selling the vehicle lost his title and can\u2019t make the sale without the document.\u00a0 You will need a duplicate title.\u00a0 Well, okay, we can get that done for you!<\/p>\n

What if you spilled your morning coffee on your title?\u00a0 Or what if your new kitten used your title as a scratching post?\u00a0 Well, we can get you a replacement.\u00a0 How cool is that?<\/p>\n

Now, what about registrations, you ask?\u00a0 Well, we do those too.\u00a0 If you\u2019re in need of a new tag for your vehicle, this is something we can make happen. If your plate somehow got stolen or damaged – we\u2019re on it. \u00a0If you\u2019re transferring a license plate you already have to a new vehicle – that\u2019s in our repertoire.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve got your license plate and your registration is about to expire, we can also facilitate your renewal.<\/p>\n

Not only do we work with physical plates and registration cards, but in some states, we provide window stickers as well.\u00a0 And if your state allows for them, we also provide an eTag in the interim to cover you in the time between ordering and receiving your new plate.<\/p>\n

And in case that\u2019s not enough to knock your socks off, there is this: in the state of Florida we can also offer you the option of an upgrade to a Specialty Plate.\u00a0 Florida offers over one hundred different designs to choose from, each motif representing not only a theme you\u2019re really into, but also a charity that benefits from your purchase of the Specialty Plate.<\/p>\n
