The title certificate and duplicate title fee are both $15, but you will need to pay a fee of $5 for an out-of-state inspection.<\/p>\n

You will also have to pay a $5 fee if you fail to transfer your vehicle title within 30 days of moving to Ohio or purchasing it from a dealer. \u201cHow much is a title transfer?\u201d is a tough question to answer precisely, but it shouldn\u2019t cost you more than $40 altogether.<\/p>\n

Filling out a title transfer form for your Ohio vehicle is easy. The first section asks for some standard information about the applicant (you).
