In Oklahoma, the DPS requires that you provide notification of an address change within 10 days. Changing your address with the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety is important to make sure documents like your license and registration show the updated information when you have moved.

In Oklahoma, you can update the address on your driver's license by mail or online. To process by mail, you'll need to mail a letter requesting the change of address to

DPS Driver License Services
PO Box 11415
Oklahoma City, OK 73136

In the letter, make sure to provide your full name, date of birth, license or ID number, and your old and new address information with the county location for both. To complete the process online, visit the Dl/ID Address Change page. Choose the "No" for non CDL license and fill out the required information. If you do have a commercial driver's license, you are required to update your address information in person at a DL Exam site.
