The North Caroline Division of Motor Vehicles requires notification of an address change within 60 days of moving. Most people have their hands full just getting their furniture and themselves situated in a new place but this is an important thing to remember to do since the state also requires that residents obtain a duplicate driver's license. Driving around with a license that is not current could land you a ticket or citation if you get pulled over.
