Relocating to a new home can be both exciting and taxing. In addition to all of the other things you will need to do, up-dating your address with New Hampshire's Department of Safety, Motor Vehicle Division is essential to make sure legal documents such as your license and registration are updated accordingly. All states require that you update your address inside a short time period once you relocate and New Hampshire residents must do so within 10 days of the change.

In order to update the address information on your New Hampshire driver's license, you must print the Record Change Request form and:

Deliver the form in person at a DMV office near you
Or mail to NH Dept. of Safety, DMV - Driver Licensing, 23 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH 03305

On the form, you are required to provide your full name, date of birth and both your new residential and mailing addresses if they differ. This form will only be accepted if it is signed and dated properly. In New Hampshire, you are not required to obtain a physical copy of your updated drivers license with the new address information but if you would like to order one, the fee is $3.00 if you turn in your old license.
